Topic Purpose

As you play better players, you will encounter players who play d4 as their first move and understand its theory. This is the Queen’s Gambit and very strong opening for White to play. The Dutch Defense is the most confrontational defense versus the Queen’s Gambit. It is not the defense that White anticipates or wants to play against.

Each lesson also includes an endgame study to enable members to outplay opponents and  to win at endgames.
